I've got a fat stack of business cards that I don't do shit with. I've handed out a couple in the last year, but mostly in business exchanges because it's got my contact details on it and it's already confirmed the other guy's gonna need it. I hate networking purely because it's artificial social interaction - I'd much rather a staged 'getting to know you' process through a medium like twitter or facebook where you can see if the other person is worth talking to or just a massive tosser with the gift of the gab. Then again, considering how much I bitch about work and my clients on Twitter, maybe that's not such a good thing... Yeah, right with you on this Brendo.
